Go Green...

Since we first opened our doors here at Manorism ten years ago, we've designed and sold thousands of pieces of furniture made from old wood and recycled building materials...
Personally, I'm very happy to now see the mainstream furniture industry adopting similar good practices.... It's just the right thing to do...

Pictured below are some of my favorite 'green' pieces at the moment...
Check 'em out...

Maple Slab Coffee Table
black steel base and 3 inch think Maple Slab top... this is one piece of wood...The slab is approx 55" at it's widest point... We added some wonderful artistic details to this, the bowties and other little details.. look closely... It's a one of a kind... This slab was cut from a MASSIVE naturally fallen tree in the North Georgia Mountains.

Red Oak/Stainless Steel Coffee Table
Three large Red Oak boards, joined to make this gorgeous Coffee TableWe used a Stainless Steel Base for this one, the Stainless Steel all made from recycled materials
This top is 2 inches think and the table top approx 34 inches at its widest point... notice the 'live edge' on either side of the coffee table? I like this one a lot.. this might go home with me if it doesn't sell quickly :) oh, and again, this wood is from naturally fallen trees in the North Georgia Mountains.

Recycled Elm Wood Dining Table

We have started a collection made from 80-90 year old Chinese Elm Wood.. Salvaged from old Doors... here is a photo of the Dining Table... We also have side tables, coffee tables and other pieces coming soon... I really like the bleached look we have with this, along with the fantastic grain and texture.. this is a neat piece...
